Episode 10. Arnold Westphal.

In “The Primal Scream” podcast, Edi Oz and Arnold Westphal explore personal transformation, focusing on masculine identity, vulnerability, and healing. Arnold shares his journey of overcoming fear and anger through primal experiences, such as facing his fear of heights and processing early childhood grief. Through his work with “Breakthrough for Men,” Arnold emphasizes the importance of creating spaces where men can reclaim authentic emotional expression, confront shame, and embrace their “hero’s journey.” Together, Edi and Arnold discuss how societal pressures often lead men to suppress emotions, causing disconnection and perpetuating cycles of shame. They examine the broader impacts of patriarchy on both genders and highlight the need for compassion, curiosity, and safe spaces to foster personal growth, enabling men and women to build healthier, more authentic connections.
